---- — PERU — Annetta M. Ann Streeter, 80, of the Clark Road, Peru, and formerly of Ticonderoga, passed peacefully into the arms of the lord, Wednesday, April 3, 2013, from CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, with her loving children by her side.
She was born in Ticonderoga, June 25, 1932, the daughter of Fred and Laura (Denesha) Provoncha. She married the love of her life, Robert S. Streeter Sr., Sept. 12, 1953. He predeceased her, Sept. 5, 1980.
Ann spent her entire life as a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She adored her family and they were the most important part of her life. Everything she did was to make others happy. She spent the majority of her life in Ticonderoga but moved to the Plattsburgh area to be closer to her daughter. She cherished all the time she spent with all of her grandchildren, and was always happy to have them with her.
Survivors include her daughter, Laurie Suddard of Peru, with whom Ann has lived with for the previous 7 years; son and daughter-in-law, Robert S. Jr. and Judy Streeter of Conneaut, Ohio; grandchildren, Christon Suddard, Jeromie Suddard, Heather Jo Suddard and husband Robert, Melissa Winston and husband Erik, and Michelle Lewis and husband Matthew; great-grandchildren, Alexis Paige Majkowski, Hailie Elizabeth Majkowski, Isaiah Winston, Malachi Winston, Mikayla Lewis, and Brianna Lewis; sister and brother-in-law, Peg and George Tofte of Sherrill, N.Y.; brother and sister-in-law, Thomas N. and Audrey Provoncha of Ticonderoga; and several cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews, all of whom she cherished.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, Melvin Bud Provoncha, William Bill Provoncha, Fred Provoncha, and Norman Provoncha.
Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, April 5, at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. Following the calling hours, at 8:30, Ann's son will share some words of remembrance. Committal prayers will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 6, in the Valley View Cemetery in West Ticonderoga, where she will rest with her husband, Robert.

Her children and family would like offer a special thank you to all of the wonderful aides that she had in the past several years, especially Roseva Arnold who has been such a wonderful friend and caregiver. She also loved her girls that helped out through North Country Home Services. Lastly a special thank you to the staff at the CVPH Medical Center whom kept her comfortable in her final days.
