Clarence V. "Bunny" Willette

---- — MOOERS — Clarence V. Bunny Willette, 91, of Old Plattsburgh Road, Mooers, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

He was born in Mooers, July 13, 1921, the son of the late, Joseph and Flora (Clermont) Willett. Bunny grew up in Mooers and spent much of his life working construction. He was a foreman and member of the Local Union 1042 in Plattsburgh.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be especially remembered for the devoted and loyal care he took of his beloved daughter, Sharlene.

In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and any type of woodworking including restoring, and repairing.

Survivors include his daughters, Sharlene Willette of Mooers; and Sandra Brassard-Gonyea and her husband, Clarence Gonyea of Mooers; grandson, Paul Hart and his wife, Amy-Jo of Champlain; granddaughter, Heather Whitmarsh of Champlain; great-grandson, Brandon Hart; sisters, Bernadette Rabideau of Mooers, and JoAnn (Janice) Empoliti of South Carolina; brother, Richard Lindy Willette and his wife, Edith of North Tonawanda; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bunny was predeceased by his wife, Charlotte (Lorenz) Willette; sisters, Nettie Ferrell, and Rita Patenaude; and brothers, Alfred Willett, Eugene Willett, and Gerald Willett.

At Bunnys request there will be no public calling hours. Committal prayers will be offered at 10 a.m. Friday, March 15, at the Whispering Maples Memorial Mausoleum in Ellenburg Depot with Rev. Gerald A. Cerank, officiating.
