---- — BALLSTON SPA — Florence A. Case, 91, a resident of Ballston Spa for 8 years and formerly of Wappingers Falls and Hopewell Junction, died on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2012 with her daughter at her side at the Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs.

Born in Plattsburgh on March 22, 1921, she was the third of ten children of William and Mary Fredette Howard. She was a parishioner of St. Clements Church in Saratoga Springs and formerly of St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction.

On June 18, 1938 at St. Peters Church in Plattsburgh, Florence married Arthur J. Case who predeceased her on Feb. 5, 1986. She was also predeceased by her son, Mike Case.

Survivors include her sons, Jack Case and wife Odette of Ocala, Fla., and Rodney "Hubba" Case and wife Lucy of Austin, Texas; her daughters, Arlene Case with whom she made her home in Ballston Spa, Gail Nichols and husband Robert of Wappingers Falls and Deborah Case of Kingston; her grandchildren, Dr. Chris Case, Russell Nichols and wife Lynn, Scott Nichols and wife Christine; and her great-grandchildren, Jack and Katie Case, Victoria and Ryan Nichols, and Rebecca Nichols.

Calling hours will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
