CARTER - A funeral service for Wilfred C. Carter Jr. 79, formerly of Hardscrabble Road, Cadyville, who died Sunday, March 30, 2014, at the Clinton County Nursing Home was held on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at St. James Church in Cadyville. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated by Msgr. Lawrence Deno, Pastor. The crucifix was placed by his wife, Hildred Carter. Organist was George Shnob. Pallbearers were Travis Carter, Terry Rabideau, Phil Tucker, Carlton Carter, James Carter and Robert MaGee. Burial will be at a later date in the spring in the parish cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of the R.W. Walker Funeral Home, 69 Court St., Plattsburgh, NY.
