---- — SARANAC LAKE — Mary K. Klugman, 71, of 14 Kiwassa Road, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, at Adirondack Medical Center. Born Jan. 16, 1942, in Plattsburgh, she was the daughter of Lyman and Helen (Rooney) Durfey.

Mary had been a resident of Saranac Lake since 2003, coming from Plattsburgh, where she had worked as a registered nurse for a short time at Sacred Heart Nursing Home.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Klugman and wife Amy of Delmar, and Matthew Klugman of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; one daughter, Laurie McCullouch and her husband Gary of Black River; one brother, Robert Durfey of Bayside; one daughter-in-law, Diane Klugman of Syracuse; and eight grandchildren, Maeve, Kevin, Daniel, Sydney, Tess, Drew, Billy and Patrick.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, one sister, Sister Carol Marie Durfey, RSM; and a son, Jeremy.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will take place at the convenience of the family.
