SEGUIN - A funeral service for Homer B. Seguin, 85, of Ellenburg Depot, who died on Sunday, March 16, 2014, was held Wednesday at St. Edmund's Church in Ellenburg. A Mass of Christian burial was con-celebrated by Rev. Ted Crosby, Pastor and Rev. Gilbert Boisvert, Pastor of Holy Angels Church in Altona. The pall was placed on the casket by his children, Stewart Seguin, Sandy Lambert, and Chris Hendrickson. The crucifix was lovingly placed by his wife of 62 years, Katherine "Teen" Seguin. Readings were proclaimed by his granddaughter, Jessica Anctil and his nephew, Steve Morrow. Gifts were presented by his sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Earl Morrow and Words of Remembrance were given by his son-in-law, Dennis Hendrickson. Organist was Barb Bilow and vocalist was Mitch Willette. Pallbearers were Rich Payne, Dick Manor, Jason Seguin, Bill Louis, Matthew Lambert, and Kevin Morrow. Honor guards were provided by members of the Ellenburg Depot Fire Department and the Knights of Columbus. Burial will take place in the spring in St. Edmund's Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of the Rabideau Funeral Home, 5614 Route 11, Ellenburg, (518) 594-3111.
