SHATRAW - A funeral service for Raymond J. Shatraw, who died Sunday, May 19, 2013, was held Thursday, May 23, at St. Joseph's Church in Dannemora. Rev. Theodore A. Crosby, Pastor of St. Bernard's Church in Lyon Mountain, celebrated the Mass of Christian burial. The organist was Katie Calnon. The pall was placed by Kathy Shatraw and Karen LeClair. Karen LeClair placed the Bible and Bonny Shatraw placed the crucifix. The gifts were presented by Nancy Shatraw and Rose Shatraw. The readings were by Emily Shatraw and Maggie O'Donnell. "Words of Remembrance" were by Karen LeClair. An honor guard was provided by New York State Corrections Officers and a New York State Flag was presented to the family. Pallbearers were Adam Shatraw, Travis Shatraw, Jacob Shatraw, Bryan Shatraw, Josh Wingler and James LaDuke.
