FELONY ARREST

PLATTSBURGH — A Plattsburgh man was arrested after he allegedly failed to pay fines.

Zachary Q. Burger, 25, was arrested on three separate warrants issued by Clinton County Supreme Court after he failed to pay fines related to arrests in 2011, 2012 and 2013, at least one of which was a felony, according to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department.

Burger was sent to the Clinton County Correctional Facility without bail pending further court action.

PERSONAL-INJURY ACCIDENT

BEEKMANTOWN — A Plattsburgh woman was injured Wednesday in a two-car accident.

At about 4:13 p.m., Coleen Pace, 50, of Plattsburgh allegedly failed to yield to the right of way when making a left-hand turn into a driveway on the Jersey Swamp Road in the Town of Beekmantown, according to a news release from the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department.

Pace’s car was struck by a vehicle driven by Jill Kanaly-Demers, 35, of Chazy, police said.

Pace was taken to CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh for medical evaluation. No other injuries were reported, police said.

Pace was ticketed for failure to yield to the right of way on a left turn, back seat passenger aged 4 to 7 years with no or improper restraint and back seat passenger younger than 4 with no or improper restraint.
