PLATTSBURGH — The U.S. Avenue Office of Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Co. raised funds and collected books for the Imaginarium Children’s Museum during a Community Appreciation Day on Friday, Aug. 16.
The event generated $130 and more than 50 books for the nonprofit museum, which is located in Plattsburgh. In addition, the bank donated a bookshelf.
The Community Appreciation Day included a range of family-friendly activities including an Airborne Park Speedway race-car display, a WIRY radio hula-hoop contest and a story hour with local authors Amy Guglielmo and Speedy Arnold. Plus, the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department created 18 child ID cards for local families.
Glens Falls National provides banking and financial services through 29 offices in Warren, Washington, Saratoga, Essex and Clinton counties. It hosts community days as a way to show appreciation for its customers and neighbors and assist local causes.
