McLane has been in the equipment-service industry for 20 years. With his past experience and superior equipment knowledge, Taylor Rental is confident he will be a huge asset and leader for their recently expanded Service Department.
Taylor Rental, Plattsburgh, has stepped up its Service Department and product offerings. With 10 full-time technicians and a new 16,000-square-foot repair facility under construction, they can service anything from a cordless drill to a large dozer or excavator.

LAKE PLACID — Adworkshop was selected as the winner of a national award for Communications Excellence by the National ESOP Association in the Special Events & Promotions — Series of Events, 250 or Fewer Employees, category.
The Annual Awards for Communications Excellence (AACE) are sponsored by the ESOP Association to recognize the outstanding communications and educational programs of its members. Adworkshop’s Executive Director, Darcy Norfolk, and Senior Director Sandra Gagnon, accepted the award at the association’s annual conference in Washington, D.C., on May 7.
Adworkshop was selected for its work to support, promote and educate its 30 employee-owners and the community during National Employee Ownership Month last fall. Commemorated each October, ESOPs across the country celebrate with community-outreach projects, educational opportunities and fun activities honoring the spirit of each ESOP.
Throughout October, Adworkshop sponsored a series of events for its employee-owners organized around a central theme, “Back to School — ESOP Style.” Events included Shop Class, where owners assembled tricycles to donate to local toy drives, Art Class to create unique ESOP-themed mugs, a Field Trip to clean up a section of Route 86 in Wilmington and more.
“With an ESOP business it is important to educate and employ what it means to be employee-owned in October, employee ownership month,” Norfolk said. “Our creative agency made an impression and it is going to be hard to top that.”
