PLATTSBURGH — Christine Benedict, Josh Chapman and Kimberly Llewellyn have joined Coldwell Banker Whitbeck Associates as full-time sales associates working out of the Plattsburgh office.
Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Whitbeck Associates, Benedict, Chapman and Llewellyn met the New York real estate licensing requirements and completed the comprehensive Coldwell Banker training program, including Coldwell Banker E-Faststart.

PLATTSBURGH — James Coffey, Dr. Robert Christopherson and Patrick Bowen are the authors of an article entitled ‘Why Municipalities Must be Profitable.” The article was published in the Winter issue of the Municipal Lawyer, a publication of the New York State Bar Association.
The article evaluates the profitability of counties in the New York State in terms of revenue versus expenditures and infrastructure investment. Clinton County earned an impressive rating in both categories.
Coffey is a professor in the Accounting Department of the School of Business at SUNY Plattsburgh and a practicing attorney with considerable experience in municipal law. Christopherson is a professor in the Economics and Finance Department at SUNY Plattsburgh and Patrick Bowen is currently the finance manager for the Town of Plattsburgh.
ESSEX — The Essex Community Fund (EFC), a component fund of Adirondack Foundation, is once again offering grants to nonprofit organizations, schools, churches and local government activities operating in the Town of Essex. ECF awards grants in support of community beautification, historic preservation, culture, the arts, education, and programs for youth and senior citizens.
