The North Country Ballet Ensemble presented "The Nutcracker" ballet over the Thanksgiving weekend in the Hartman Theatre at Plattsburgh State.
The 65-plus member cast gave a spellbinding performance with guest artists from Rebecca Kelly Ballet and the Dance Theater of Harlem.
The ballet is based on the story "The Nutcracker and the King of Mice" written by E.T.A. Hoffman. The story is about a young German girl who dreams of a Nutcracker Prince and a battle against a Mouse King.
