PPR storm hits 1030

STAFF PHOTO/KELLI CATANA Plattsburgh State student Lauren Sullivan, an employee at the Smooth Moves in College Suites, stacks bottles of water. The store owner, Joe Kovacs, stocked up on supplies, enough to make 600 meals, plenty, he said, for the 300 students who live there. Kovacs also brought in a generator in so they can still serve meals if the power were to go out. Plattsburgh State closed at 2 p.m. Monday, canceling classes and activities for the rest of the day.
