JACK LADUKE/P-R PHOTO Max Cary, 8, and his mother, Kris, of New Hampshire visited the Lake Placid Olympic Museum on Tuesday, where they checked out exhibits including this goal and net used during the 1980 Winter Olympics in the village when the U.S. hockey team defeated the powerful Russian team in a historic upset dubbed the Miracle on Ice. The U.S. team later claimed the gold against the Finnish team. Goalie Jim Craig's equipment is displayed inside the net.
