PPR 9/11 tribute1 0912

STAFF PHOTO/KELLI CATANA Trevor Hendrickson, Spencer Thibault, Steven Rohrig and Nicholas Christian (from left), members of Plattsburgh State's Army ROTC program carry the U.S. and New York state flags at a memorial by the Hawkins Hall pond on the campus, honoring the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. Earlier in the day, the ROTC group also made enough trips up the stairs of the Kehoe Administration Building to equal the 110 flights that were at the World Trade Center, commemorating all those who died on 9/11, including firefighters, civilians and police officers. The students accepted pledges, with the money going to the Wounded Warrior Project.
