Adirondack Wind Ensemble Concert. 4 p.m. Lake Placid Center for the Arts, 17 Algonquin Drive, Lake Placid. Professional musical ensemble of wind and percussion instruments comprising music educators and other community musicians from around the North Country. $10 adults, students free.

Brian Dewan. 7:30 p.m. Recovery Lounge, Upper Jay Art Center, Route 9N, Upper Jay. Dewan will present some of his “I-Can-See” filmstrips and sing original and historical songs with accordion and autoharp accompaniment. Free.

”Support.” 6:30 p.m. Champlain Valley Christian Center, 263 Tom Miller Road, Plattsburgh. One-man performance by Tim Wagoner, who presents an exploration of human behavior and addiction. Free. Followed by talk-back session.

Artist Market. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. North Country Cultural Center for the Arts, 23 Brinkerhoff St., Plattsburgh. Local artists selling handmade jewelry, clothing, paintings, photographs, prints and more. Free.

Wayne Handly Art Show. 5 p.m. ROTA Gallery, 50 Margaret St., Plattsburgh. Works by Wayne Handly.

David Davis Benefit event. 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Peru Community Church, Activity Hall. $6 for lunch/dinner. Event features 50/50 raffle, Chinese auction, children’s face-painting. David Davis was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia and is being treated at Brigham’s Women’s Hospital in Boston. He is retired from the U.S. Air Force and is a security supervisor at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in Rouses Point.

Storyteller Cailin Mulvey’s Tales from the Mists of Time. 2 p.m. Wells Memorial Library, Upper Jay.

Champlain Valley Winter Wine Festival. 4 to 6:30 p.m. Legends Bistro and Comfort Inn. Grand tasting, silent auction, live music by pianist Emily Carlin. Tickets: $25. Followed at 6:30 with a three-course dinner paired with wine. Wine dinner tickets: $75 per person and cover food, wine, tax, tip and a $35 donation to benefit Champlain Valley Transportation Museum and Kids’ Station.
