Scrapbook vendors to set up at expo
PLATTSBURGH — The public is invited to visit many scrapbook and paper-crafting vendors at the Scrapbook Expo set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at St. Peter's School (Seton Academy), 23 St. Charles Street, Plattsburgh. Admission is $2.

The event is a fundraiser for First Assembly of God Women's Ministries.

Orchid Society meet on Oct. 29
CLAYBURG — The Adirondack Orchid Society will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at Big Daddy's Restaurant just outside Clayburg on Route 3.

Also, the group will travel to the Montreal Orchid Show Sunday, Oct. 25. Others are invited to participate. Call Jeffrey Rundell for more information: 497-6887.
