Tickets available for Lake Placid Garden Tour

LAKE PLACID -- Leaders of the Garden Club of Lake Placid have planned the group's upcoming event titled "Pockets of Paradise: Home and Garden Tour." The tour will take place Saturday, July 26, from 1 to 4 p.m. and will feature selected Lake Placid properties. Admission is $15 for club members and $20 for non-members and includes a silver tea from 3 to 5 p.m. at an historic lakeshore home.

Tickets sell fast, advance purchase is recommended. Plattsburgh-area residents can call Marty Strack at 561-5331; contact Virginia Warrington at 523-9043 for the Lake Placid area.
