Secret Garden Tour set for July 12

PLATTSBURGH -- The Kent Delord House Museum Garden Club will hold its 18th-annual Secret Garden Tour Saturday, July 12. The self-guided tour starts at noon; maps will be ready by 11:30 a.m. Because of the distance of the secret gardens, car pooling is encouraged. Refreshments will be offered in one of the gardens after 2:30 p.m., and all the sites will welcome visitors up until 4 p.m., rain or shine. Advance tickets are $8, available at the museum July 8 through 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are $10 on the day of the tour. The Secret Garden Tour is a major fundraiser, with all proceeds used to enhance the historical grounds and gardens at the Kent Delord House Museum at 17 Cumberland Ave., Plattsburgh.
