Hospital hosting free Hunters’ Health Screening

ELIZABETHTOWN — Elizabethtown Community Hospital’s annual Hunters’ Health Screening is from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept 18, at 75 Park St.

The free health screening will allow hunters the opportunity to have a physical that will assess their overall health before they set out into the woods. Results will be reviewed by a physician that evening, and an opportunity to ask questions about health status is also available.

The screening will assess blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol and oxygen levels. Hospital staff will also check vision, height and weight, providing an overall health picture. Participants will also have an EKG reading taken.

As well, the hospital lobby will be filled with information related health and safety.

For questions, call the hospital at 873-3003.
