---- — Zumbathon to benefit fitness center
BRUSHTON — “Zumbathon for Fitness,” an event to benefit the fitness center at Brushton-Moira Central School, is slated for Saturday, April 13, in the High School gymnasium.
Registration starts at 9:30 a.m., with the event running from 10 to noon. The cost is $15 for adults and $10 for students. Children under 14 years old must be supervised by adults.
Fun prizes and refreshments will be available, as well as a Chinese auction and raffles.

Relay kickoff celebration set for Thursday
CROWN POINT — The Relay for Life of Crown Point will hold a kickoff celebration at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 11, at Crown Point Central School.
Light snacks and beverages will be offered as the group presents information on how to participate in their event. The event theme will also be revealed.

Walk supports Suicide Prevention
PLATTSBURGH — The SUNY Plattsburgh Out of the Darkness Campus Walk to support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is Saturday, April 13, at the college.
Proceeds benefit local and national suicide-prevention and awareness programs. Registration is at 1 p.m. in the Angell College Center. The walk will begin promptly at 2 p.m.

Night Out for Caregivers coming up
PLATTSBURGH — The Alzheimer’s Disease Assistance Center will be holding a Night Out for Caregivers from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 11, at the Saranac Lake Free Library, 109 Main St.
Any person providing care to an individual with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia is encouraged to attend. Caregivers are welcome to bring their loved one, who will be able to participate in a fun evening of activities provided by the Third Age Adult Day Center at the Saranac Lake Adult Center.
A light dinner will be served from 6 to 6:45 p.m. followed by a presentation by Dr. Taher Zandi, director of the Alzheimer’s Center.
