New CFO joins ADK Health

SARANAC LAKE — Tristan Glanville has joined Adirondack Health as chief financial officer.

He most recently held that same position at Inter-Lakes Health in Ticonderoga.

"Tristan Glanville began work as a member of Adirondack Health's executive leadership team recently and has settled into the community," Joe Riccio, director of communications, marketing and government affairs, said in a press release.

"(He) has 30 years of progressive leadership responsibility in administration and finance at not-for-profit health-care organizations. Much of his experience for the last decade dealt with strengthening the long-term financial position of hospitals and health systems.

"He truly believes servant-style leadership has been key to the success he has enjoyed over the years."

INTER-LAKES WOES

Greg Moore preceded Glanville as chief financial officer.

"He left several weeks ago," Riccio told the Press-Republican Wednesday.

Moore, who is from Kentucky, "pursued a job opportunity closer to his family.

Glanville joined Inter-Lakes Health in 2012.

He and Inter-Lakes Chief Executive Officer William “Chip” Holmes both ended their tenure there on April 4.

Inter-Lakes Health has struggled over the past few years, losing more than $3 million in 2013, Holmes said previously.

Thirteen employees were laid of in February, with another 10 positions reduced to part-time and 10 vacant positions eliminated.

SHARED GOAL

Glanville based his decision to take the CFO job, the release said, "on the progressive philosophy of Adirondack Health and how that is reflected in the staff's daily commitment to quality care."

"The servant leadership philosophy fosters not only individual ability but also collaboration among employees seeking to achieve our shared goal of exceptional patient care," he said in the release.

"As health care continues to evolve into a value-based model, the quality of care, patient outcomes and how they rate their overall experience will be linked to the financial strength of Adirondack Health."
