CVPH rehab clinic relocating

PLATTSBURGH — Beginning Wednesday, Dec. 18, the CVPH Rehabilitation Clinic at 16 DeGrandpre Way, Plattsburgh will be closed.

From that point on, Shannon Bessette and Kathy Mitchell will be providing physical-therapy services at the CVPH Rehabilitation Clinic at 179 Tom Miller Road, Plattsburgh.

The change was made in order to provide patients more efficient, quality care, according to a news release from the hospital.

Hand therapy will be provided by Becky McCambridge at a new CVPH clinic established at Plastic, Reconstructive and Hand Surgery Services of CVPH, located in the Miner Medical Arts Building (CVPH campus), 214 Cornelia St., Suite 103.

McCambridge will be sharing office space with Dr. Marissa Matarrese, hand surgeon, and Dr. Ryan Marshall, plastic and reconstructive surgeon.

This move will offer patients the convenience of one-stop shopping for doctor visits and hand therapy, the hospital release said.

All CVPH rehabilitation services will continue to be provided by licensed professionals, and therapy will be overseen by the director of rehabilitation services for the Medical Center.

Physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy will continue to be provided at the CVPH PARC location at 295 New York Road, Plattsburgh.
