Events planned for spring break

PLATTSBURGH — With spring break here, some special activities are available for families.

Check listings ahead, as some events require advance registration.

Here’s the schedule.

TODAY

Celebrate National Library Week. Noon to 4 p.m., Sherman Free Library, 20 Church St., Port Henry.

No School Days/Spring Break. 9:30 to 4 p.m., Visitors Interpretive Center, 8023 Route 30, Paul Smiths. Children ages 7 to 11 are invited to learn and play with a variety of subjects related to the season like plants and animals who wake up and claim territory. Preregistration for each day required; call 327-6241 or email mberrus@paulsmiths.edu. $35 per person; $25 for members.

Gently Used Summer Clothing Sale. 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., St. Vincent’s Thrift Store, 3028 Main St., Peru. 

AMA Tour by Historic Saranac Lake. 10:30 a.m., Meet inside the Park Avenue gates. Tour the grounds of the former Trudeau Sanatorium. $5 per person, children and members free. Reserve by noon day before by calling 8891-4606.
