SL Free Library preschool story time to continue May 1
SARANAC LAKE — The preschool story time program at the Saranac Lake Free Library will not be held Thursday, April 17, and Thursday, April 24.
The program will resume at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 1, in the Children’s Room of the library.
Imaginarium to host Bunny Hop
PLATTSBURGH — The Imaginarium Children’s Museum will host the annual Bunny Hop from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 19.
Included will be sack races, face painting, do-it-yourself bunny photos, contests, giveaways and more.
The egg hunt will begin at noon. Every egg will contain a special prize or prize voucher.
From 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., the bunny himself will host a small egg hunt and sensory-friendly activities.
Tickets, $6 for nonmembers, $4 for members and free for kids under 2, are available at the Imaginarium or online at imaginebunnyhop.eventbrite.com.
Bunny Cares planned at Champlain Centre
PLATTSBURGH — Bunny Cares is heading to Champlain Centre for children with special needs and their families from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 13, in front of JCPenney.
The Bunny Cares event, held before normal mall hours, allows children with special needs the experience of sitting with the Easter Bunny and having their photo taken in a quieter and calmer environment, a press release states.
Coloring and other activities will be available while waiting.

Town accepting registration for summer, fall rec programs
PLATTSBURGH — The Town of Plattsburgh registration for all the programs offered by the Recreation Department throughout the summer and fall is now active.
Programs include baseball/softball/t-ball, swimming, fall soccer, summer camps and more.
The registration deadline for baseball and softball has been extended and forms will now be accepted through April 18. Any registrations received after this date will be placed on a waiting list. All participants must register to play in the town they reside in before seeking a release to play elsewhere.
