---- — Teen Challenge group to speak Sunday

in Plattsburgh

PLATTSBURGH — Teen Challenge New England will be at First Assembly of God, 164 Prospect Ave, Plattsburgh at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 25.

There will be special music by the Teen Challenge Choir, testimonies and scripture.

Teen Challenge provides youth, adults and families with an effective and comprehensive Christian faith-based solution to life-controlling drug and alcohol problems. Studies have shown that 86 percent of Teen Challenge graduates remain drug and crime free after seven years.

Bazaar to benefit

St. Agnes School

LAKE PLACID — St. Agnes School’s annual Christmas Bazaar starts at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the school’s 2322 Saranac Ave. location.

Items for sale include crafts, toys, baked goods, gifts, wreaths, trees, poinsettias, raffles, and more. There will also be a silent auction. Lunch will be served, and Santa arrives at noon.

Bazaar goes to

missions projects

PLATTSBURGH — The Presbyterian Women’s Group is holding a Christmas Tea and Bazaar from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Plattsburgh First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall on the corner of Brinkerhoff and Marian streets.

The event will feature Christmas wreaths; bake and boutique shops; specialty crafts; a deli; a book sale; and white elephant, knick-knack and Christmas rooms. A Silver Tea with sandwiches and cookies will also be featured.

Proceeds will benefit missions projects.

Church hosting Gift Back Day Dec. 1

MALONE — St. Mark’s Church is hosting Gift Back Day from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 1, at the church Parish Hall, 34 Elm St.

Offerings include a free pancake breakfast and photo with Mr. and Mrs. Santa, crafts, games, face painting and more. Other special guests include the Franklin County Dairy Princess Court and the Franklin County Sherriff’s Department to make children’s ID cards.

A gift of a non-perishable food item would be greatfully accepted, but not required. Donations will be given to Catholic Charities of Malone.
