Catholic Charities holding Open House

PLATTSBURGH — Catholic Charities of Clinton and Essex Counties is having its Open House from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, June 20, at 43 Durkee St., Suite 300B.

All are invited to learn about the services the organization provides and meet new staff members. Light refreshments will be provided.

Local Church of Spiritualism hosting guest speaker Sunday at Grange

MALONE — The North Country Church of Spiritualism is presenting Linda Marie Hill at a meeting at 10 a.m. Sunday at the Grange on Raymond Street.

Hill is a Reiki master, teacher, author and psychic. She will lecture on “Healing With the Angels.”

A freewill offering will be collected to defray expenses, and a potluck dinner will follow.

Annual Spring Women’s Luncheon set for Wednesday

ESSEX — The annual Spring Women’s Luncheon of the Essex Community Church will be held at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, in the Fellowship Hall at 2743 Route 22.

A salad luncheon will be served and a freewill offering will be received. The guest speaker is Rita Alford, the area coordinator of Operation Christmas Child.

All are welcome and invited to attend.

Vacation Bible school starts soonin Willsboro area

WILLSBORO — The Willsboro/Essex vacation Bible school will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Monday, June 24, through Friday, June 28, at the Willsboro United Methodist Church, 3731 Main St.

The theme is “SonWest Roundup.” The program is for children in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade and will include music, Bible stories, crafts, games and special snacks.

Kids can come and wear a cowboy hat and receive a western handkerchief.

Plattsburgh church hosting vacation Bible school

PLATTSBURGH — The Plattsburgh Church of the Nazarene invites all community children ages 3 years through fifth grade to an upcoming vacation Bible school program.
