Church celebrates remodeling, announces hours

PLATTSBURGH — Members of the First Baptist Church of Plattsburgh celebrated the dedication of new carpeting in the sanctuary and choir loft during recent Sunday morning services.

That same evening a dedication social was held for the repainting of Fellowship Hall, the kitchen, adjoining rooms and the stairway to the second floor.

Sunday morning service begins at 10 a.m. There is an adult class that starts at 11:30 a.m. Children attend the start of the service and then go to Sunday school part-way through.

The church is now open Wednesdays from 8 to 9 a.m., noon to 1 p.m. and 6 to 7 p.m. for thoughtful prayer and meditation. Come for all or a part of any of these hours.
