Imaginarium hosts ukulele sing-along
PLATTSBURGH — The Imaginarium Children’s Museum of the North Country, 4709 Route 9, invites families to “Musical Fun with the Uke-A-Dooks” at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. today.
Uke-A-Dooks will play interactive children’s songs, such as “The Wheels on the Bus” and “Old MacDonald Had a Farm” on ukuleles for a sing-along.
The group will spread out among the audience and introduce the ukulele to children who are interested in learning the unique and fun instrument.
The Imaginarium is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Admission is $4 per person age 2 and up. Children under the age of 2 are free.
In addition, the museum will begin special discovery programs on Sundays in 2013. Admission for all Super Sunday programs will be $6 per person age 2 and up, and free for those under age 2.
