---- — French language camp coming up
JAY — A French language camp for children ages 6 to 9 years old is being offered Monday through Friday, Aug. 5 through 9, at the Amos and Julia Ward Theatre at Parkside Lane.
The program will introduce children to French in a playful way, through songs, games, puppet play and hands-on activities. Each day will be dedicated to a theme: numbers, parts of the body, colors, days of the week and more.
This year, two sessions will be offered; the first is intended for participants of last year’s program, and the second session will welcome new learners. Session one is from 9:15 to 10:30 a.m., and session two is from 10:45 a.m. to noon.
The program fee is $25 for the five-day camp. Space is limited to eight students per session.
To register or for more information, call Madame Worthington at 946-7042 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The camp is possible through a children’s program grant from Stewart’s Corp. and the American Legion in AuSable Forks.
