AMC doctor earns orthopedic sports med certification

SARANAC LAKE — Dr. Daniel P. Bullock, an orthopedic surgeon on the medical staff of Adirondack Health, recently earned a subspecialty certificate in orthopedic sports medicine from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.

The orthopedic sports medicine subspecialty is additional certification reserved for current board-certified orthopedic surgeons who demonstrate qualifications in sports medicine beyond those expected of other orthopedic surgeons, a press release said. This is accomplished through additional training, carrying a caseload characterized by a majority of sports-medicine cases and by making contributions to sports medicine.

Bullock is a partner in Lake Placid Sports Medicine, located in the Adirondack Medical Center in Lake Placid at 29 Church Street.
