Answering the call of the wild


“All the proceeds go to the Adirondack Wildlife Refuge,” Mr. Leighton said. “What we plan on during the following weekend is to take a trip to them and present them with the money.”

In June, the troop will travel to the New York State Zoo in Watertown.

“They will participate in the junior zoo-keeping program they put on, so they can see what goes on in a zoo and animal care,” he said.
