Paul Larche, an adult nursing student at Clinton Community College, has been named a Frank Lanza Memorial Scholar. He is one of 20 health-care students nationwide who will receive a $2,500 scholarship to help achieve his goals. Larche has earned a bachelor’s degree in business and spent many successful years in marketing.

S<\Bz24>hea Crockett, son of Kim and Van Crockett of Plattsburgh and a student at Hamilton College, had a role in Hamilton’s fall theater production of Bertolt Brecht’s “The Good Person of Szechwan.” Crockett is a junior majoring in mathematics and theater and a graduate of Plattsburgh High School.
The National Association for the Self-Employed has awarded Matt Dwyer a $4,000 scholarship. Applicants were judged on academic performance, leadership abilities, community involvement and teacher recommendations. He is a 2013 graduate of Beekmantown Central School and the son of Barry and Marilyn Dwyer. He is enrolled in the Honors Program at Bentley University, Waltham, Mass., majoring in finance and liberal studies.
Alyssa Crockett of Plattsburgh received her doctorate degree in physical therapy from Ithaca College. She completed clinical internships at United Health Outpatient Clinic in Rochester; Towanda Memorial Hospital in Towanda, Pa.; Champlain Valley Educational Services in Plattsburgh; and Kessler In-Patient Rehabilitation Center in Chester, N.J. She is the daughter of Van and Kim Crockett and a 2007 graduate of Plattsburgh High School.
Megan Moody of Bloomingdale participated on the SUNY Delhi women’s soccer team. She is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in architectural design technology at Delhi.

Koby K. Wolfe of Plattsburgh has been inducted into St. Lawrence University’s chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon, the national mathematics honor society. Wolfe is a member of the Class of 2015 and graduated from Beekmantown Central School.
Jacqueline Carpenter of Moriah graduated from the University of Akron, Ohio, with the summer class of more than 1,200 candidates from 24 states and 30 countries. She earned the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in psychology.
