SARANAC LAKE — The Adirondack Artists Guild has recently welcomed two new members.
Linda Gertsch of Saranac Lake, who creates jewelry and other objects in polymer clay, joined in August. Linda Sweeney, a Lake Placid resident who works in pastel, became a member in October. Both have had their work exhibited in many regional shows.
The Adirondack Artists Guild is a cooperative retail art gallery representing a diverse group of regional artists residing and working in the Tri-Lakes region. The gallery is located at 52 Main St., Saranac Lake. For more information, call 891-2615.
NCCCA hosts afternoon of family arts programming
PLATTSBURGH — The North Country Cultural Center for the Arts is offering its Second Sunday Family Arts series from 1 to 3 p.m. Nov. 10 at the arts center, 23 Brinkerhoff St.
Jeff Woodard will teach families how to make cornucopia sculptures.
The cost is $5 per session per child or $12 per session for a family of three or more children. The workshop runs from 1 to 3 p.m. on the second Sunday of every month.
