Music, comedy events take off the end of this month

MONTREAL -- Here's a (busy) spring and summer Montreal stage preview:

Tokio Hotel plays Uniprix Stadium Monday (May 19). Tickets cost $30. The Centaur Theatre winds down its season with the Michel Tremblay drama "Forever Yours, Marie-Lou" until May 25. Tickets range from $31 to $42.50. The Segal Centre for the Performing Arts at the Saidye presents "The Odd Couple" until May 25. Tickets range from $35 to $47. It's followed by the Dora Wasserman Yiddish Theatre Production of "The Wise Men of Chelm," June 11 through July 3. Tickets range from $30 to $43.

CLAPTON, ALICIA KEYS

Kanye West plays the Bell Centre May 20. Joining West in his Glow in the Dark tour is Rihanna and N.E.R.D. Tickets range from $54.50 to $89.50.

Les Grands Ballets Canadiens presents Classic Balanchine at Place des Arts May 22 to 24 and 29 to 31. Sam Roberts Band has a date at Cabaret Just pour Rire May 27. Tickets cost $26.50.

The incomparable Eric Clapton plays the Bell Centre May 28. Tickets range from $69.50 to $124.50.

K.D. Lang performs at the intimate L'Olympia Theatre May 29 and 30. Tickets cost $69.50.

Alan Greenspan, the former Federal Reserve chairman, talks money and more at Palais des Congres convention center May 30. Tickets cost $451.50.

Matthew Good and his band play Club Soda May 30. Tickets cost $22.50. Genesis cover band The Musical Box performs at the Bell Centre May 30. Tickets cost $42.50 and $52.50. The eclectic M.I.A. plays Metropolis June 3. Tickets are $28.50. R&B/pop songstress Alicia Keys plays the Bell Centre June 3. Tickets range from $50 to $125.

The graduates of the National Circus School perform at Tohu, Circus Arts City, June 4 through 14. Adult tickets cost $25; children 12 and under cost $18.

Martha Wainwright plays Le National June 4. Tickets cost $27.50.

Pop crooner Barry Manilow performs at the Bell Centre June 5. Tickets range from $64.50 to $149.50.

Eighties rockers Rush play the Bell Centre June 12. Tickets range from $59.50 to $89.50. Billy Bragg plays Club Soda June 18. Tickets cost $32.50.
