Tonya Bashaw, Jessica Cross and Chelsea Merrihew star as Elizabethtown-Lewis wraps up the MVAC softball title while Jody Harrington pitches Crown Point to the baseball championship.

Amy Giroux, Cari Jabaut, Michelle Fitzgerald, Sandy Harrington, Lisa Woods, Mary Rickson and Michelle Rocheleau star as Peru beats MAI to improve to 12-0 in softball.

Saranac Lake's Chris Blanchard takes a no-hitter into the seventh; however, AuSable Valley strings together base hits from Jeff Brown, Pat Mather, Craig Worley and Stacey Changelo to pull out a 4-3 win.

Mary Hurteau, Darcy Paige and Heather Hopkinson lead unbeaten Malone to a title-clinching win over Massena in Northern Athletic Conference girls' track & field.

Sue Hutchins of Malone finishes eighth in the 800-meter run at the NCAA Div. III championships, becoming the first Plattsburh State woman to garner All-America honors in outdoor track.
