Seton Catholic's Jason Jabaut (4:26.6 for the 1,600) and Northeastern Clinton's Scott Morrelli (56.3 for the 400-meter hurdles) set meet records in Malone.
The Willsboro Rangers -- Marc Jacques, Allan Jacques, Anthony Alterie and Andrew Baker -- finish first in the C Division of the New York State Junior Bowling Championships.
Hockey All-American Steve Moffat and freshman track star Laurie DeLilli are named Plattsburgh State Athletes of the Year for 1997-98.
Chazy's James Moser pitches a no-hitter with 11 strikeouts and has 7 RBI against Elizabethtown-Lewis.

Corey Bushey (ages 13-14, 70 pounds) and Jason Bushey (11-12, 100) of the Northern Adirondack Wrestling Club win their divisions at the New York State Youth Wrestling Championships.
Elizabethtown-Lewis's Tim Garvey is one out from a perfect game when he gives up a single to Lake Placid's Scott Schalm. John Puleo rips a 3-run triple in the Lions' 5-0 victory.
Peru's Todd Furnia sets a Malone track record of 22.3 for the 200-meter dash and ties the 100-meter mark of 11.0. He also runs with the sprint relay team that sets a record of 44.8.
MAI's Mark Boule hurls a 2-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts to outduel Northern Adirondack's Joe Peryea, who takes the loss despite allowing just four hits.
25 YEARS AGO (1983)
Darrin McDonough pitches a 4-hitter with 10 strikeouts and Jay Dumas drives in 3 runs as Keene beats Schroon Lake in a battle of MVAC unbeatens. Crown Point then knocks off Keene behind Ken St. Pierre, who pitches a 3-hitter nd helps his cause with two hits.
