Chiefs, Knights split in tennis
PLATTSBURGH -- Missy Doherty and Christina Allen cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 2 doubles to lead the Saranac girls past Seton Catholic, 3-2, in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference tennis on Wednesday.
Jessie Todd and Courtney Morrow recorded a three-set win in No. 1 doubles play and Alisala Thatsanauwan won in straight sets at No. 3 singles for the Chiefs.
Reinhart Meisenheimer and Alex Fregeau recorded straight-set wins in singles play to lead Seton Catholic to a 5-0 victory in the boys' match.
