Red Storm golfers survive test
SARANAC LAKE -- Undefeated Saranac Lake survived a test Monday afternoon with a 4.5-1.5 victory over Peru in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference golf at the Saranac Lake Golf Club.
Casey McHugh (47) was medalist on the day with a one-over 37 to lead the Red Storm (8-0).
Keegan O'Hara, who lost his No. 2 match to Casey McHugh by one stroke, and Ryan Miller, who was a winner in the No. 3 match, each carded a 38 for the Indians.

PERU -- Ryan Kirkpatrick carded a one-over 37 to capture medalist honors at Adirondack Golf & Country Club as the unbeaten Hornets moved to 7-0 on the year.
Alex Pierce (43), Mark Pellerin (44), Ethan Votraw (46), Jordan Conroy (46) and Michael Bennett (48) also picked up wins for PHS.
Ryan Lee was low for the Eagles with a 48 and Mitchell Ryder was next with a 49.
