MALONE -- Daniel Marshall swung the big bat for Malone's Franklin Academy in a 10-6 victory over Norwood-Norfolk in Northern Athletic Conference baseball Friday.
Marshall went three-for-three, including two doubles and two RBI. Brock Bannon also had three hits for the Huskies (8-4, 4-4).
Zach Leffler struck out two, walked four and surrendered 10 hits in going the distance for the pitching win.
Malone scored at least one run in the first five innings while building up a 10-4 lead.

MASSENA -- Marci Silver struck out three and pitched a one-hitter as the Red Raiders blanked the Lumberjacks.
Janelle Bradish went 2-for-2, with a triple, and Mickenzie Lennox 3-for-4, with two runs scored, for the Red Raiders.
Sam Sanford took the loss for the Lumberjacks and fanned five. Brooke Chartier had the lone hit for Tupper Lake (0-8).
"They (Massena) hit the ball well and put it where we couldn't catch it," Tupper Lake head coach Jenn Vroman said. "We settled in late, but just couldn't get a big hit."
