---- — Monday Night Summer Classic meeting May 13

PLATTSBURGH— The Monday Night Summer Classic at North Bowl Lanes will be having a meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, May 13.

Bowling will be following the meeting. Teams consist of three bowlers with a team average max of 585. The league will bowl Monday nights. Teams and individuals can call 561-1690 or 534-3713.

Baracks Senior League meeting set for Monday

PLATTSBURGH— Meeting for the 2013 Baracks Men’s Seniore League will be held 9 a.m. Monday at the Baracks club house. The projected start date is 8 a.m. May 13. Contact the Barracks at 566-7150 or Bud Pepper at 563-1658.

Correction in Eagles, Knights golf match from April 25

PERU — There is a correction to be made in the golf match between Seton and Beekmantown that took place April 25.

The Knights ended up winning the tiebreaker, 208-212. Beekmantown was incorrectly credited as the winner in Friday’s paper.

First for Northern Impact volleyball

PLATTSBURGH — The Northern Impact volleyball club 15s won in the Silver Division Regional and took home first place.

Team members include Coach Jeanette Braun, Ally Wallace, Maddie Kaplan, Shelbi Dufrane, Kyleigh Melhorn, Taylor Higgins, Coach Theresa Lily, Alyssa Rock and Charlotte Stevens.

Mariners holding tryouts May 12, 19

PLATTSBURGH—The Clinton County Mariners are hosting tryouts for their Junior and Senior Legion teams at 5 p.m. on May 12 and May 19 and Lefty Wilson Field in Plattsburgh.

The Junior team is a 17 and under team looking for players born in 1996 or later. The Senior team is a 19 and under team looking for players born in 1994 or later.

All players interested in attending the tryouts are asked to call or e-mail Harold LeClaire, the Director of Operations, at 493-3320, 569-4936 or to register your name, address, phone number and date of birth. Players from Clinton and Essex counties are eligible.

CADYVILLE — 3 Spot Archery is holding its first archery indoor league.

Pine Ridge Bowman to hold a 3-D animal round Sunday

WEST CHAZY— The Pine Ridge Bowman will be holding a 3-D animal round Sunday, at the Champlain Valley outdoors club in West Chazy. Registration begins at 8 am and end at 10 am. Food will be available. All area archers are welcome.

Clinton County Youth Bureau holds qualifier May 11

CLINTON COUNTY— The Clinton County Youth Bureau will be holding a local Hershey Track and Field Day Games qualifier with registration starting at 9:30 a.m. May 11.

The games will begin at 10 a.m. The games will be taking place at the Plattsburgh High school track complex. The meet is for boys and girls ages 5-14. They can compete in up to three events which can be one field and two track, or two field and one track.
