Basketball officials award scholarships

The Champlain Valley Basketball Officials Association, comprising I.A.A.B.O. Board No. 142 and the Southern Adirondack Girls Basketball Officials Association, has awarded scholarships to two area high school seniors.

This year’s scholarship recipients are Jessica Bain of Indian Lake Central School and Derek Brassard of Moriah Central School. Both have participated in their schools’ respective basketball programs over the past four years, are proven leaders both on and off the court and have excelled academically. We wish them much success as they further their education.
