PFC claims Northeast College Showcase title

SARATOGA SPRINGS — The Plattsburgh Football Club U18 Boys turned in a championship performance over the weekend in the Northeast College Showcase Soccer Tournament.

Plattsburgh defeated the Pennsylvania Rush 1-0 in the championship match Sunday afternoon.

Earlier in the day, Plattsburgh downed the Adirondack Lynx of Glens Falls 3-0 to advance to the final.

Plattsburgh opened the tournament Saturday with victories over the Albany Alley Cats (4-0) and Super Nine Soccer Club of Rochester (1-0).

Team members include Adam Goldfarb, Alex Proper, Alex Price, Keegan Frenya, Matt LeClair, Austin Tetrault, Brady Channell, Skye Dominy and Jacob Bushey.

Also, Josh Barriere, Zach Brothers, Jonathan Plessis-Belair, Ryan Waterbury, Kyle Constanty, Andrew Meister, Kaden Baugh and Prescott Doyle.

Plattsburgh, coached by Chris Waterbury and Todd Channell, improved to 13-3-1 on the season.

CYH monthly meeting Thursday

CHAZY — Chazy Youth Hockey will hold its monthly meeting Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Scotts’ Rink in Chazy.

Schuyler Falls holding summer soccer registration

MORRSIONVILLE — The Town of Schuyler Falls Recreation Department is conducting registration for its summer soccer program.

The program is open to Town youths between ages 4-14. Registration forms can be picked up at the Town Hall, Morrisonville Redemption Center and Rock’s Grocery.

Make-A-Wish fishing tournament set for June 28

PLATTSBURGH — The Plattsburgh Rod & Gun Club will be the site of a fishing tournament June 28 to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
