PLATTSBURGH — Ninety-two runners made his or her way to the Terry Gordon Memorial Bike Path April 8 for the first Fun Run of the Spring Series hosted by the Clinton County Youth Bureau.

Stretching and running tips are given before the start of the runs. The series will continue this April 15.

Registration will begin at 5 p.m. and runs at 5:15 p.m. All runs are free.

9-pin tournament at Bowl Mart

CHAMPLAIN — Bowl Mart Lanes is hosting a 9-pin tournament Friday at 7:30 p.m.

There will be a buy strike option. Women will use 140 and men 160 if no current averages.

Woodcock Memorial Skate-a-thon

PLATTSBURGH — The Mark Woodcock Memorial Skate-a-thon will be held at Ameri-Can North Sports Center Sunday from 1:30-3:45 p.m.

Basic admission to skate is $4 for adults and $2 for students. Skate rentals will be available at the rink for $2, and snacks and drinks will be sold in the lobby.

If you cannot make it to skate, donations are appreciated. All proceeds will benefit the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
