Lake Champlain Martin 16 Regatta Aug. 3-4

COLCHESTER, Vt. — The Northeast Disabled Athletic Association (NDAA) and the Malletts Bay Boat Club (MBBC) are pleased to announce the 11th annual Lake Champlain Martin 16 Invitational Regatta to be held Aug. 3 and 4 at the Malletts Bay Boat Club in Colchester, Vt. Events start at 9 a.m. each day.

The regatta is one of the oldest in New England and sees some of the best sailors with disabilities sail the innovative Martin 16 sloop and vie for the prestigious Berg Cup. Sailors with spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injuries and other physical disabilities come from all over North America.

The public is welcome and there are plenty of opportunities for meeting sailors. A silent auction is planned to raise funds for NDAA. Registration is still open for sailors.

NDAA is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization located in Burlington, Vermont that provides athletes with physical disabilities the opportunity to pursue recreational and competitive athletics. NDAA offers a competitive and recreational adaptive sailing program out of the Moorings on Lakeshore drive in Colchester.
