---- — Adk Mountainmen holding tryouts

TICONDEROGA — Tryouts for the Adirondack Mountainmen AAU boys’ basketball teams will be held on Sunday, March 17 and Tuesday, March 19.

The tryouts are open to boys ages 12-17, who still have high-school eligibility. There is a $35 tryout fee.

This year’s tournament schedule will include stops at the War on the Floor tournament in the Lake George region, the Can-Am Classic in Potsdam, the Lake Champlain Lakers tournament in Plattsbugh, the Greater Northeast Championship in the Lake George region, the Mountainman Classic in Ticonderoga, as well as regional games in the immediate area.

Sunday, March 17

Ages 12-14 from 1-2:30 p.m. at Ticonderoga High School

Ages 15-17 from 2:30-4 p.m. at Ticonderoga High School.

Tuesday, March 19

Ages 12-14 from 7:30-9 p.m. (TBA)

Ages 15-17 from 7:30-9 p.m. (TBA)

Franklin Academy hosting dodgeball tournamanet

MALONE — Franklin Academy is holding its PSTO’s Dodgeball Tournament on Monday, March 18 at 6 p.m. in the FA gym.

There are a few team slots open, sign-up to play by contacting Candace Gadway at 483-7807, ext. 7144 or cgadway@malonecsd.org.

Admission is $4 per person and refreshments will be available.
