PSU vs. St. Lawrence pushed back one week

PLATTSBURGH — The Plattsburgh State baseball team has announced a change in the date of its nonconference home game with St. Lawrence University.

The game was originally scheduled to be played on April 16 at 4 p.m. but will now take place on April 23. The game will still be played at Chip Cummings Field at 4 p.m.

LePage records first hole-in-one

LAKE WALES,Fla. — Jay LePage recorded his first hole-in-one after 22 years of golf on April 7 on the East Course at Lake Ashton Golf Club in Florida. LePage aced the 167 yard second hole using a 5 hybrid club. The shot was witnessed by Jamie Jerome, Joao Ramalho and Ted Price, former owner and head professional at Bennington Country Club.

Golf International 2000 set to open

ST.-BERNARD-DE-LACOLLE, QUEBEC — The Golf International 2000 in Lacolle will be opening on Saturday, April 12.

Call (450) 246-3626, as of Thursday to confirm a tee-off time.

More changes to Plattsburgh State softball schedule

PLATTSBURGH — The Plattsburgh State softball team has announced a number of changes for this week’s games.

The doubleheader against Norwich schedule for 3 p.m. on April 9, has been postponed. A make-up date has not been announced yet.

The Cardinals will compete in conference action this weekend with doubleheaders at Fredonia State on Friday and Buffalo State on Saturday.

On Sunday, Plattsburgh State was scheduled to play a pair of make-up games at Oswego, but these games have been moved to Ray Middle School in Baldwinsville, N.Y. at 10 a.m.
