Rod and Gun Club hosts Rifle League Finals
PLATTSBURGH — The Plattsburgh Rod and Gun Club will host the match-10 finals of the Vermont Winter Postal League.
Competitors from Burlington, Northfield, Quebec and St. Lawrence will be in attendance for the last match of the rifle season. The match will take place during the weekend of April 5 and 6.
The league is one of the largest leagues in the country with over 115 competitors from six states. Attracting most of the top shooters from the Northeast, Plattsburgh looks to finish out its best season in club history.

KYC holds spring sports registration
KEESEVILLE — The Keeseville Youth Commission will be having signups for baseball, softball and t-ball March 29, April 5 and April 12 from 10 a.m. to noon.
Additional registration dates are scheduled for April 1, April 8, April 10 and April 15 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
All signups will occur at the Town of AuSable Town Hall.

NCCS athlete, parent meeting April 8
CHAMPLAIN — The Northeastern Clinton spring athletics athlete and parent meeting will be held April 8 at 5:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
All modified, JV and varsity-level athletes who are participating on a spring team are to attend with their parent or guardian.
Smooth Stride Runners’ Clinic in Lake Placid
LAKE PLACID —Adirondack Health is offering Smooth Stride Runners’ Clinics where participants will receive full running assessment by a trained staff, biomechanical screening and footwear recommendations for issues, which may lead to injury and lost training time.
Participants are also offered computerized running gait analysis, using DartFish video software, functional movement assessment with corrective exercises, nutritional screening and running physiology with training guidelines.
The Runners’ Clinics are scheduled for April 3 and May 15 at the Adirondack Health Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine facility in Lake Placid. Start times for sessions are 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and are limited to four participants per time slot.
