Chazy Youth Hockey holds monthly meeting

CHAZY — Chazy Youth Hockey will hold their monthly meeting Thursday, May 9 at 7 p.m. at Scotts Memorial Rink in Chazy.

PYH meeting slated for Wednesday

PLATTSBURGH — The next Plattsburgh Youth Hockey (PYH) board meeting will be Wednesday, May 8, at Primelink, 99 Kansas Avenue, starting at 7 p.m. The meeting is open to the public.

Mixed Couples League meeting May 8

PORT KENT — On May 8, there will be an informative meeting for the Mixed Couples League at the Harmony Golf Club.

All couples participating are encouraged to be there.

Dannemora Fun Golf League set for May 9

DANNEMORA — League play for the Dannemora Fun Golf League will begin May 9 at Bluff Point.

Stick-puck, public skating sessions set

PLATTSBURGH — Can-Am North Sports Centre will be open for stick-n-puck sessions Friday, from 6-7:30 p.m., and Sunday, from 3:45-5:15 p.m.

There will be public skating Sunday, from 2:30-3:45 p.m.

Intro to Fly Fishing course May 11

NEWCOMB — Adirondack Fly Fishing Guide Rick Kovacs will introduce fly fishing

and the history of the sport in the Adirondacks at 9 a.m. May 11 at the Adirondack Interpretive Center. Learn about proper gear, tying knots and casting techniques — it’s a great program for beginners. Basic gear and fly rod outfits will be for sale.

The registration fee is $25. Call 582-2000 or email to register.

Tennis association banquet May 19

PLATTSBURGH — The North Country Tennis Association will hold its annual banquet on Sunday, May 19 at The Barracks. Happy hour will be from 6-7 p.m. with dinner at 7 followed by the annual meeting and awards presentations.

Youth Disc Golf Clinic May 28

CADYVILLE — The Town of Plattsburgh Parks & Recreation Department will be hosting a Youth Disc Golf Clinic on May 28 at the Cadyville Disc Course from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The free clinic is for youth ages eight and up. All equipment will be provided for the session. Register at or stop by the office. Please register by May 20. For more information, call the Recreation Department at 562-6860.
