PSU tennis goes 2-0 on weekend

Hodnett defeated Brandstetter, 6-0, 6-1, in first singles and Stephanie Omlin won her third singles match against Maegan Ploof by the same score. Badgers’ senior Emily Miller was shut down by Paquette in No. 2 singles as the Plattsburgh senior won 6-0, 6-0 and remains a perfect 3-0 on the year in that spot.

Emily Carlin earned her second win of the season at fourth singles with a 6-3, 6-0 win over Chelsea Vallone-Curtis. Sam Fasciano and Danielle Guerrier also picked up points for Plattsburgh in No. 5 and No. 6 singles, respectively.

Friday’s win pushed the Cardinals to 6-3 on the year and marks the beginning of a busy weekend for Plattsburgh. The Cardinals travel to Oswego tomorrow for a 2 p.m. match before returning home Sunday for their final regular season match against St. Lawrence at

1 p.m.
